Contrairement aux mesures traditionnelles de chevaux-vapeur pour les voitures, les ventilateurs ont leurs propres m\u00e9triques uniques : le d\u00e9bit volum\u00e9trique et l'augmentation de pression. Ces deux facteurs, bien que variables, entretiennent toujours une relation sp\u00e9ciale l'un avec l'autre.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Cette relation est repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e sur un graphique \u2013 la signature unique du ventilateur. Pour une performance optimale, cette courbe est id\u00e9alement trac\u00e9e \u00e0 une vitesse fixe, cr\u00e9ant ce qu'on appelle la courbe de \u00ab vitesse inh\u00e9rente \u00bb. Sur ce graphique, le d\u00e9bit volum\u00e9trique est situ\u00e9 sur la ligne de base (axe des x), tandis que l'augmentation de pression du ventilateur se trouve sur l'axe des y. C'est le point o\u00f9 le ventilateur fonctionne avec la consommation d'\u00e9nergie la plus faible et le moins de bruit pour sa conception. Fonctionner \u00e0 ce point offre le r\u00e9sultat id\u00e9al en mati\u00e8re d'efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">Les ventilateurs peuvent fonctionner \u00e0 divers points sur leurs courbes caract\u00e9ristiques. Vous pouvez choisir un ventilateur plus petit \u00e0 une vitesse plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e si vous acceptez un peu plus de bruit et une efficacit\u00e9 l\u00e9g\u00e8rement inf\u00e9rieure. Ces ventilateurs, souvent appel\u00e9s souffleries, utilisent un bo\u00eetier canalis\u00e9 pour guider l'air sortant dans une direction souhait\u00e9e ou \u00e0 travers un dissipateur thermique. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">La fonction principale des ventilateurs centrifuges est de d\u00e9placer l'air de l'entr\u00e9e rotative vers une sortie, couramment utilis\u00e9s dans des applications canalis\u00e9es pour aspirer l'air \u00e0 travers des conduits\/\u00e9changeurs de chaleur ou pousser l'air \u00e0 travers des roues similaires. Notamment, ils offrent un mouvement d'air comparable \u00e0 celui des ventilateurs axiaux standard, mais \u00e0 partir d'un ensemble plus compact, ce qui les rend adapt\u00e9s pour vaincre une r\u00e9sistance plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e dans les flux d'air. <\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">Les ventilateurs centrifuges exploitent l'\u00e9nergie cin\u00e9tique des roues pour propulser le flux d'air, lui permettant de contrer la r\u00e9sistance des conduits, des clapets et d'autres composants. Ces ventilateurs d\u00e9placent l'air radialement, modifiant la direction du flux d'air g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de 90 degr\u00e9s. Ils sont caract\u00e9ris\u00e9s par leur robustesse, leur fonctionnement silencieux, leur fiabilit\u00e9 et leur polyvalence dans diverses conditions.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">Contrairement aux soufflantes volum\u00e9triques (positive-displacement blowers), qui maintiennent une masse d'air constante, les ventilateurs centrifuges sont des dispositifs \u00e0 volume constant. Cela signifie qu'\u00e0 une vitesse de ventilateur constante, ils d\u00e9placent un volume d'air relativement constant. Cependant, la masse r\u00e9elle d'air varie en fonction de facteurs tels que la densit\u00e9 de l'air influenc\u00e9e par les changements de temp\u00e9rature et l'altitude.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">Comparativement, les ventilateurs centrifuges sont plus efficaces que les soufflantes volum\u00e9triques. Cependant, les soufflantes peuvent avoir un co\u00fbt d'investissement initial plus faible et atteindre des taux de compression plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s. Par rapport aux ventilateurs axiaux, les ventilateurs centrifuges sont plus adapt\u00e9s aux applications canalis\u00e9es dans des environnements r\u00e9sidentiels, industriels et commerciaux.
