Les viroles des appareils \u00e0 pression sont soud\u00e9es entre elles pour former une structure ayant un axe de rotation commun. Fond<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\">Toutes les viroles d'appareils \u00e0 pression doivent \u00eatre ferm\u00e9es aux extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s par des fonds (ou une autre section de virole). Les fonds sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement incurv\u00e9s plut\u00f4t que plats. Les configurations incurv\u00e9es sont plus solides et permettent aux fonds d'\u00eatre plus minces, plus l\u00e9gers et moins chers que les fonds plats. Des fonds peuvent \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur d'un appareil. Les fonds sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement class\u00e9s selon leurs formes. Buse<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\">Une buse est un composant cylindrique qui p\u00e9n\u00e8tre la virole ou les fonds d'un appareil \u00e0 pression. Les extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s des buses sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement brid\u00e9es pour permettre les connexions n\u00e9cessaires et faciliter le d\u00e9montage pour la maintenance ou l'acc\u00e8s. Une jupe de support est une section de virole cylindrique qui est soud\u00e9e soit \u00e0 la partie inf\u00e9rieure de la virole de l'appareil, soit au fond inf\u00e9rieur (pour les appareils cylindriques). Les jupes pour les appareils sph\u00e9riques sont soud\u00e9es \u00e0 l'appareil pr\u00e8s du plan m\u00e9dian de la virole.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">La jupe est normalement suffisamment longue pour offrir une flexibilit\u00e9 suffisante afin que la dilatation thermique radiale de la virole ne provoque pas de contraintes thermiques \u00e9lev\u00e9es \u00e0 sa jonction avec la jupe.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"color: #000080\">4.2 Pied (Patte)<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\">Les petites cuves verticales sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement support\u00e9es par des pieds qui sont soud\u00e9s \u00e0 la partie inf\u00e9rieure de la virole. Le rapport maximal entre la longueur du pied de support et le diam\u00e8tre de la cuve est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement de 2:1. Le nombre de pieds n\u00e9cessaires d\u00e9pend de la taille de la cuve et des charges \u00e0 supporter. Des pieds de support sont \u00e9galement g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9s pour les appareils de stockage sous pression sph\u00e9riques. Les pieds de support pour les petites cuves verticales et les appareils de stockage sous pression sph\u00e9riques peuvent \u00eatre fabriqu\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de poteaux en acier de construction ou de sections de tuyaux, selon ce qui offre la conception la plus efficace.    <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"color: #000080\">4.3 Berceau (selle)<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p1\">Les cuves horizontales sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement support\u00e9es \u00e0 deux emplacements par des supports berceaux. Un support berceau r\u00e9partit la charge pond\u00e9rale sur une grande surface de la virole pour \u00e9viter une contrainte locale excessive dans la virole aux points d'appui. La largeur du berceau, entre autres d\u00e9tails de conception, est d\u00e9termin\u00e9e par la taille sp\u00e9cifique et les conditions de conception de l'appareil \u00e0 pression. Un support berceau est normalement fix\u00e9 ou ancr\u00e9 \u00e0 sa fondation.   <\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">L'autre support est normalement libre pour permettre une dilatation thermique longitudinale non contrainte de la cuve. L'utilisation de pattes est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement limit\u00e9e aux appareils de petit \u00e0 moyen diam\u00e8tre (1 \u00e0 10 pieds) et \u00e0 des rapports hauteur\/diam\u00e8tre mod\u00e9r\u00e9s, allant de 2:1 \u00e0 5:1. Les supports \u00e0 pattes sont souvent utilis\u00e9s pour les appareils de cette taille situ\u00e9s au-dessus du niveau du sol au sein d'une structure en acier.
